Molecular Systems Engineering is a National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR MSE) funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), and headed by the University of Basel and the ETH Zurich. 2024 marks the 10th anniversary of NCCR MSE. In our podcast series "10 Years in 5 Minutes" (10Y5M), researchers, friends and associates look back on a decade of groundbreaking research, recalling encounters and scientific achievements within this outstanding scientific consortium. Today's guest: Gregory Stephanopoulus. Gregory Stephanopoulos is Willard Henry Dow Professor in Chemical Engineering in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. For the past 10 years, he has chaired the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) panel that monitors and guides the scientific progress of the NCCR MSE.
